Lewis Manor provided us with a wondeful labradoodle; she makes a wondeful companion that is highly intelligent, has a wondeful temperament, and complements us perfectly. The only true issue and the reason for the low review is that they lied to us about the size of our dog. I feel that if 8k is spent on a full size labradoodle, then it should be a full size. We have an actual full size labradoodle who is about 1.6x the size of her. We love her and think she is the best dog in the world, but Lewis Manor either intentionally sold us the runt of a litter or a different dog breed. Either way, they lied about the size of the dog. Also, the contracts you must sign are unethical and put the owner at a great disadvantage. Overall, Lewis Manor does provide exemplary labradoodles that are capable of anything, but a future customer should be weary of the dogs size and implications of the contracts. response to owner: the dog was bought at 3-4 months, not 8 weeks so there was much more time to gauge size accurately than what you said. Also, I understand dogs grow in ranges, but if what you say is true than your staff made an error when speaking to us on the size of the dog. The dog is training to be a service dog and the lack of size has limited some of her tasks. Also, something I forgot to mention is that Lewis Manor sold us the puppy with an umbilical hernia, but did not tell us until we had driven 8+ hours there despite weeks of communication. Your claims of transparency are false in this example. They were either negligent and did not know about the hernia or chose to not tell us for weeks until we had already arrived which is morally wrong, especially when charging so much for a dog and making us sign so much medical paperwork.

Miles and his staff were great and helpful. We adopted one of their trained dogs who is as sweet as he is smart.

We had an incredible experience with Lewis Manor. They were very attentive and answered all of our questions! Our puppy, Dandy, has the sweetest temperament and is very well adjusted. He is well trained and we didn't have any accidents inside our apartment. He fit right in. Highly recommend!

I got my puppy, Loki, a year ago from LML after I had gone through a traumatic event. I got Loki with the intention of him being a sort of therapy dog for me and for others. He has 100% filled his role. I thought I would be getting a female, but after the temperament testing LML paired me with Loki and it was definitely a match. He is the most kind, loving, friendly dog! Everyone comments on how well he behaves for a puppy. He frequently interacts with my nieces and nephews (4,1, and 1), and they all love him. I am also a high school teacher and have brought him to work multiple times. I am constantly impressed with how calm he is in large crowds. If youre thinking about getting a puppy from LML, do it!!

*The best loving, welcoming, caring people EVER!* I was blessed with taking my handsome puppy home in March of 22 and I couldnt be happier! LML, Miles and his staff are second-to-none. So well versed, knowledgeable and educated in their entire breeding and going home process. No stone is left untouched with not only my puppy, but every single one (and not only myself, but everyone who is blessed with getting a dog from them). With wants, needs and questions, they are are always just one call, email or visit away. Amazing wonderful people and dogs to work with! You will NOT be disappointed. I assure you of that!

Hi Chris, don’t seem to have anyone with the last name Moats as one of our customers. Perhaps you purchased an Australian Labradoodle from us under a different name. I would love to know which dog you reserved and from which litter. It sounds though like we have provided you with a wonderful dog with a fantastic temperament, which is always one of the most important things we strive for. It’s troubling that you have never reached out to us with any of your concerns. Our contracts are freely available on our website for anyone to review and we would have welcomed discussing any concerns you had, though I’m not sure which aspect of it you found fault with. As far as the size of your puppy, again, without knowing which litter this dog came from I can’t really give any insight. Adult weight of a dog is never something that can be guaranteed though we do try very hard to give the best estimates we possibly can. The size of both parents isn’t even the only factor determining full grown size. I have had litters where one dog in the litter was 37 lbs. and another dog from the same litter was 67 lbs. I have had two 25 lb. dogs produce a dog that was 45 lbs. when full grown. When giving our size estimates of a litter it is always an estimate and always is a range, typically based off of the parents’ size. Sometimes when I know that a grandparent is larger or smaller than the parents, that also plays a part into the size estimate. The size of a dog at 8 weeks old isn’t even a sure indication of its final adult size. I have personally seen cases where the smallest dog in a litter at 8 weeks old turned out to be the biggest dog in the litter when full grown. The accusation that we lied to you, meaning that we intentionally deceived you is completely baseless. We have many litters per year ranging in size from 20 lbs to 70 lbs. With many litters to choose from and no shortage of demand for our puppies, there would just never be a reason to try to mislead you on what we were selling. To suggest that we might have sold you some other breed of dog is the highest insult. For 12 years we have bred Australian Labradoodles, and only have had Australian Labradoodles. Every dog we own is health tested and registered with the ALAA, which has a verification process for pedigrees. Being transparent and honest with everyone we deal with is one of the most integral aspects of how we run our business. We do appreciate your feedback, are sad to hear the size did not turn out as you expected, but glad otherwise your pup has been a great fit for your family. Please feel free to reach out to us personally and we can look into this and discuss more with you. We always strive for happy customers! Thanks!Miles LewisOwner, Lewis Manor Labradoodles
